I managed to do it this way...

Install the latest firmware version 20250108.
Then simply connect the P5Mate Pro to your PC (according to the instructions, without pressing the top sync button) using the included usb cable / adapter.
Connect the PS4 / PS5 controller to the other side of the P5Mate via USB A.

Go to the right blue bar (R1)

Now read carefully what the blue info text says:

The LX / LY (Left Stick) values

RX / RY (Right Stick)

must be between +/- 0.99 and 1.00.!!

You can adjust these values ​​for all directions and the stick by pressing the stick and correspondingly with the D-pad.

So first do all the left stick movements, then the right stick on the PS4/PS5 controller.

Now save and you're done.
