Does P5General support 1000Hz polling rate when sending inputs to the PS5 consol

Is the 1000Hz polling rate bidirectional? Does it also send 1000Hz input to the PS5 console? I'm a bit confused—I thought the console maxes out at 500Hz. Need help from the author of Besavior.
